Satu hal yang sangat tidak aku sukai adalah..... menunggui FA! Ya ampun ini pekerjaanku sejak menjadi AE dan sepertinya memang tak ada yang ingin men-suksesi pekerjaan penuh derita ini. Apalagi setelah dibaca puluhan kali, hasil cetaknya tetap salah juga....

Salah! Salah!

Astaga....

Entah kualitas FA artist yang menurun, kualitas AE yang menurun atau kesaktian editing-ku yang menurun... hal ini sudah beberapa kali terjadi. Damn it!

Can I just have a privilege to get everything done smoothly? (and not depend on me!).

I am tired... just tired.

I should have used the time to think on something else, something in advance, something big, something new... not only getting involved in this classic madness over and over again.

but who can I trust to?

Still in the new year's euphoria... I would like (again) to write blog. After a long, long break.

Q : Why start it again?
A : Because I feel like a new sprout coming out from fertile ground. Fresh. Lots of hopes. Eager to grow big and bigger!

Q : Nahhh... that's only for temporary. I'm sure of that... Poor old Anas will get bored soon.
A : Hey Q, you're supposed to 'question' ?! and not giving comments! Do your job properly!

Q : Fine.
A : Fine!!

Q : What's your hope for 2008?
A : 2 things I do hope I can achieve this year. In my work and my personal life.

Q : Work?
A : I wish I could expand my knowledge and ability in graphic design, so that I can help myself visualizing my ideas.. I wanna learn more about viral ads, how to make it, how to make it work, how to make it worth. So that I hope I can survive the Advertising Evolution.

Q : Personal life?
A : I wish I can be fully independent...

Q : Aren't you now?
A : I mean... I want to have a place I call home, my own.. complete with all the furnishing inside: lazy chair, mini home theater, open bathroom (hah?!), cozy livingroom, warm bedroom, fragrant kitchen and flowery backyard with my dog running here and there! Hmm... what else? A lovely husband is a furnishing too?

Q : You asked me?
A : What do you think?

Q : I'm the one who question, and you're the one who answer.
A : That's not a question!

Q : Arrrghhh.... fine! Last question: Do you hope to find your Man this year?
A : Of course! I do hope I can find him. And he can find me.

Q : Yeah, I hope you do...

Q : You hadn't write your blog for quite a while. Why? What made you stop?
A : Bad habit of being too clingy to my past... and bad connectivity on the internet. Now that I get over those, I think I'm back on track.

memoir of the early days (3) : 17 Agustus!!

Independence day is one of my important days... in school we were having a very special flag ceremony... at home we were busy with various activities including sport competition and of course, the kampung parade.

Back in 1981 (or was it 1982?) I joined the kampung parade together with my younger brother Tom. My mother designed and made our costume herself! I was a nurse and Tom was a doctor... we were the ones who help and cure many wounded soldiers in the front line of battle :D

Other children mostly dressed up like soldiers, warriors, farmers and traditional dancers... our costumes were unique and none of them wore white dress like us..

Merdeka! Merdeka! that's what we shout along the parade... we marched along the kampung.. the main street, the small alley... through the houses, the cassava fields, through that small and swaying bridge :) oh.. what a wonderful day for all of us...

ipod... ipod, where art thou?

It's been over 2 weeks since the day of rumours that I will be getting an ipod from my client..
No further news, no any signs, no any clues! oh.. ipod... will you ever be mine?

tv commercial production for smax ring

Phew! Finally... we got our storyboard to be approved for production by our client. Last Monday July 10 was the D day for the shoot.

The film director Anggy is still quite young but very talented, and the rest of the crews were amazing! The TVC is about a bunch of kids playing in the park and while they're playing, they also demonstrate how they love Smax Ring as their favorite snack.
I think, it is a very simple storyboard... but very fun! The soul of this TVC is the theme song, that is an adaptation from local children song called 'lingkaran kecil' (small circle), but we modified the lyrics as 'lingkaran keju' (rings of cheese).

One of the kid talents, Eizel... was very very cute and adorable... and we girls can't stand to stay calm! :) We grabbed Eizel and drag him for some pictures together...

In the tvc, Eizel was acting as a shy boy... he wanted to try and taste Smax Ring, but felt discouraged... then his friends came and encourage him to try Smax Ring... which eventually he found it very tasty...

Ahhh.... a full day shoot in a park! quite exhausting... and of course... it gave you a memorable 'sticky sensation' :) coz Indonesia's climate is very humid.
Finally, it was a 'wrap' at 5.00pm and Eizel has to go! Ohh.... too bad, he's so cute!

Again, it's an old picture... was taken in 1975 by my Dad in the frontyard of our home in Semarang.

I was the one with frizzy hair and wore a (what the?!?) wet monkey pants?!? :)
We weren't familiar with diapers that time, I guess...

Together with my brother Wiwid.. (I wonder why he stared at the camera that way..)
Well, however, I dont remember this event, coz probably I was too little to remember.. (hmm... never tought I got a big belly when I was a baby... and now the big belly returns!)

It took only couple of seconds to make a family picture, but its memory would last forever...
This is my family, the picture was taken back in 1978 in front of our home in Tegal, a small city in Central Java.

I was only 4 years old, the one who rode the tricycle (the only cycle I can ride up to now :)
Mom was very big back then... but of course we didnt think it's a major thing, Mom loved to cook and we all loved to eat...

My two elder brothers were studying in Elementary School, so each morning I played all by myself. Little Tom was too little to play anything...

My Dad was a junior high school principal and the school was nearby the house. Sometimes, I went up to Dad's school and saw my Dad taught the students. I'm very proud of him.

It was only 2 years we resided in Tegal... In 1980, Mom told me that Dad had to move back to Semarang and taught there... and I think when we all were doing the packing, a sad news came in.. my grandmother passed away, so that we must expedite our departure...

A : that's not new! I get used to hear that kind of news.. Anas is getting bored with merely everything in her life!

Q : no, that's not true!
A : what about being a secretary.. she said it was boring, having a career in lighting business.. she said she had enough.. she wanted something new.. now she's working in advertising biz just like she wanted from the very beginning.. yet.. she said she wants to move on..

Q : well, probably she's a bit adventurous type.. she said she doesn't got happiness in her present job anymore.. that's why she would move on..
A : happiness?

Q : yes, happiness is very important! self actualization is very important!
A : she always says that.. does she know that in this life you cannot get everything you want?

Q : but you can work things out to get what you want, well of course... according to God's will..
A : Hmm.. I thought she wanted to do her own business, lost interest again?

Q : no! she's still want to do her own business, she's anxious to do that.. but she has not enough money to start a business, so she want to work to collect some money first..
A : well, hopefully she's still remember what she wanted to do (and what she said) in a couple of months from now..

A : Ouuccchhh! who kick my butt?

Anas : I did!
A : why?

Anas : because you're so pesimistic! I want to move on... I still wanna learn many things in my life! I want to have a new job, becoz I dont feel like I'm happy to do my present job, I didnt get motivated to see what happened around the office.. and I would feel dumb if I continue the service..

Q : that's my girl!!
A : that's hard :(

Anas : I also want to have more time for my private life! to learn new things that I really want to do, new things that I love to do..

Q&A : such as?

Anas : take a cooking class, make cakes, chinese food, western food, creating new recipes!

Q : are you kidding?

Anas : also I want to buy a sewing machine and learn how to sew.. make some clothing..

Q : you cant! I thought you hate this sewing stuff..

Anas : nope.. I just didnt like that old lady who taught sewing class on my junior high school.. I didnt hate sewing..

A : yeah, so you can sew cloths for your future family.. and not to spend money in expensive clothings! you go girl!

Anas : Also... to take a spa theraphist class!

A : Q.. she's nuts! ouuucchhh.. who kick my butt again?
Q : spa therapist? for what?

Anas : so I can arrange my own spa theraphy.. massaging people.. well, specifically.. massaging man.. my own man :)

I had listen to this song last night on Ramako FM.. for the first time I listen to every word of it.. and it was very beautiful!
no hot words such as 'I cant live without you', no magic words like 'I love you'...
